What are COVID-19
Symptoms?

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms
to severe illness.

 
People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

*Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.

What if I don't have any
Symptoms?

(Asymptomatic)

Get tested for COVID-19 at select pharmacies only if you are not showing symptoms and meet any of the following criteria:

  • are a contact of a confirmed positive case

  • have been directed by Public Health

  • live/work in an at-risk setting, such as a long-term care home, homeless shelter or other congregate setting

  • visiting a long-term care home

  • are a worker or resident of a specific outbreak site

  • are eligible for testing as part of a targeted testing initiative as determined by the Ministry of Health or Ministry of Long-term Care
